Elliot Dellys
Elliot Dellys (IRAP, PCI QSA, CISSP, CISM, CIS LA) is the founder and Chief Realist (CEO) of Phronesis Security, Australia's first B.Corp cyber security consultancy with a mission to do ‘cyber security for good’.
Previously, Elliot worked for the Australian Signals Directorate and a global managed service provider, where he led the Strategic Consulting division across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region. Elliot has guided organisations large and small through cyber transformation programs, including AI security design, testing and training for state and federal government, a successful ISO 27001 certification program for the world’s leading motorsports racing company, the accreditation of a fleet of Commonwealth aircraft, and as the virtual CISO for Australian and international critical infrastructure providers.
Elliot is also an established industry commentator, with regular appearances on primetime TV, radio and major print news discussing issues ranging from AI security and international affairs to cyber strategy, privacy law reform, ransomware legislation, national security, and high-profile incidents and data breaches.
Elliot is also an industry-recognised information security content publisher, with articles appearing in ACS, Computerworld, CSO, Australian Cyber Security Magazine, CRN, ITWire and InfoSecurity Magazine.
