Fariza Rashid

Fariza Rashid is a doctoral student at the University of Sydney, conducting research on applications of AI in cyber threat intelligence in collaboration with Thales Australia. She completed a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Hons) in Data Science and Financial Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Sydney in 2021. Her current work involves using deep learning, specifically sequential classification techniques, to identify benign indicators in malicious URL detection with a focus on reducing false positive rates.
