James Oram is the SOC Manager for Telstra's internal 24/7 Cyber Security Operations Centre. Being one of the largest SOCs in Australia and monitoring critical infrastructure, James has gained incredible insight into how a SOC should be run to best defend against complex Cyber Attacks.
With a background in Computing and Law Enforcement, James sees Cyber Security as the perfect blend between the two - policing computer networks.
James presented at Canberra AISA CyberCon 2023 on "Telstra's Journey to SOC Automation and Orchestration" which was well received.
