Jessica Clarence
Jessica works as an Assistant Director within the Government Uplift section of the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) where she delivers programs and advice to uplift government cyber security. She has a strong interest in using data, metrics and evidence-based approaches to drive cyber security strategy and policy, and is currently leading the Shark Cage SIEM/SOAR project alongside Lee, as well as several other strategic initiatives in the team. Jessica has over six years of experience working in a variety of analyst and research roles including at ASD, the Cyber Security Cooperative Research Centre, ACT State Government, and the Australian Strategic Policy Institute. She has a Masters of International Relations with a thesis on terrorism and propaganda, a Juris Doctor, and a Bachelor of Arts with majors in 20th century History and Politics.
