Neil Hammet

As Technical Director for Proofpoint Neil is responsible for leading the technical conversation with clients and partners around the world, providing expertise on key challenges facing organizations today when it comes to protecting their people and defending their data.

In his previous role, Neil was Technology Evangelist for Proofpoint’s Threat Protection platform for six years. Prior to that he was Systems Engineering Manager for Email Fraud Protection at Return Path, a division acquired by Proofpoint in the summer of 2016. During his tenure, Neil participated as a subject matter expert in key conferences including the e-Crime series, and lead a number of high profile projects including the DMARC pilot conducted by Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) which has since been rolled out to all UK Government.
